March 9th “Sediment: Fluff vs. Liquid Mud” Seminar presentations
CRA held a short seminar on the Texas Gulf Coast sediment on March 9th at the Houston Pilots in Deer Park, TX. There were presentations on the East Texas coastal geology of the Pleistocene and Holocene periods, overview of geotechnical measurements of dredge material, dredgeability of recent sediments, measurement of water depths, the difference of fluff and liquid mud, navigable depth, and update on the status of dredge material placement in the Houston/Galveston Area.
