Company Profile

CRA was formed in 1986 by Chris Ransome who has over 30 years experience in underwater mapping and surveying for both the offshore oil & gas markets as well as for the civil engineering and dredging industry in the U.S.A. Current CRA senior management consists of Vice-President Mike Lahr who has been with the company since it's inception and is now our senior Hydrographic Surveyor. Victor Barrera is our Operations Manager and offshore drill rig positioning expert and has been with the company over 10 years. Our supporting staff is a highly experienced group of offshore and hydrographic surveyors all of whom are proficient in a wide range of software and hardware.

 CRA is a certified small business by the Port of Houston, is registered with the Small Business Administration PRO-NET system, and is a corporate member of the Hydrographic Society of America (THSOA). Personal memberships include the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping.
